Every so often, I am asked what inspires me to create the interiors I imagine for my clients, and what fuels my creativity… and my answer is always the same: ‘my clients’ personal story and their family memories’. One of my most important tasks, at the beginning of each project, is to try and get into my clients’ minds to understand their lives, their lifestyle, their likes and dislikes, and one of my biggest sources of inspiration comes from the memories they share with me. I ask them about their traditions, childhood memories, travel memories, and as they start describing these memories to me, I start picturing interior atmospheres that would resonate with the stories they share with me.
In this specific project – one of my absolute favourites of the year 😍! – I was asked to imagine interiors infused by my clients’ travel memories of the Argentinian Patagonia and Argentinian Andes Mountains. The schematic boards presented here are examples of bathrooms schemes I imagined based on the images I was given as sources of inspiration. Needless to say, I am absolutely thrilled to have to imagine interiors based on such extraordinary places.
Which of these four schemes do you like most?
